So much of startup-centric literature (and motivational content) is built around telling us founders what we absolutely need to do to succeed. While there may be some universal truths to the core building blocks of entrepreneurial success, the beauty of entrepreneurship is the ability to craft your own rulebook.
Your startup doesn’t need to look identical to some cookie-cutter model suggested by some best-selling book that’s already being followed to a “T” by thousands of founder hopefuls who will fail nonetheless, despite strict adherence to the author guru’s tactics.
