Hi Brian - I completely get your first comment (that readers would assume it's a pitch for Las Vegas real estate/tourism/etc.), and to be honest, it was one of my hesitations around writing this article, but the truth is I'm 100% independent/agnostic/unbiased, yet I STILL feel so strongly in this article based on what I've seen over the past year regarding entrepreneurship unfolding in Vegas and the number of founders/investors/influential people who've been moving their (and relocating their companies). Regarding the weather, you're talking to a SoCal resident invested in both the coast and the desert, so I believe as long as you spread out your residences and lean into the right season/climate, it's not just doable, but ideal - though, that of course requires the freedom to be location-independent and have multiple residences in those ideal locations.
