Love this and agreed! The lack of commitment (and underestimation of time required to build, launch, grow, and hopefully succeed) I see in aspiring founders is appalling, but I guess not surprising. I work with hundreds of teen entrepreneurs (and many adults, too), and so many of them are shocked by the fact that no, they probably won't breakeven in week 3!

I'm working on a piece on why I've turned down interim "ghost" CEO roles and how they can maybe change my mind, and reading this first brings up some valuable reminders. Thanks for sharing. :)
